I found out why I crashed in September. When I took the motor apart, it had a rag in the crankcase that had caused the oil flow to be significantly reduced. The result was the motor ate up the bottom end and bound up. That is why I lost power and got hit from behind by someone doing about 140mph.

Still, even attending only about half the races in the year, and missing two double points weekends, I still ended up with a third overall in BOTT Middleweight.

I am happy with that, and honestly it is more than I ever expected when this all began.

Can't wait until 2005!
