I only needed to get two points in F-Twins to secure a third in the championship, so I took the 999 out and did it!
The bike has serious issues though. Not handling well in 8 at all, does not feel planted, I have no confidence in the front end. I tried a bunch of different suspension settings to no avail. Gonna have to spend some more money. Dang.
