Feb 2004 No racing this month. I had to travel for work, so I was not able to be there. As a result, I took a major hit on standings. After January I was actually 11th overall. My highest ever, but now I need to work my way back up. No points in February put me way down again. I am doing a bit of maintenance, having the front fork seals replaced, oil changed, and generally inspected. Going to have to re-set sag/preload again, I hate that. I am also going to play a bit with the cam timing, replace the belts, and check the valves again before the next outing, just to see how things are doing. To get back into the swing, I will be going to Fontana for a track day on Monday the 15th, and then the following Saturday is race weekend! I am going to do four races this month, Formula Twins, Formula 40, BOTT Middleweight, and Formula 2. I want to see how I do in a Formula Class. This is the first step toward my Goal of qualifying in the Toyota 200 this October. Gonna need to get more tires... |
