It's taken six months to get a motor back into the bike. I know a lot more about Ducati motors than I used to that's for sure! I built a motor out of more or less spare parts, and it seems to run OK. The rods came out of a bike Phil and I parted out, the crank is ebay, the cases and heads are out of one of the motors that blew up last season. Well see how it goes.
I ended up getting a 4th on F-Twins, and 8th in F40LW and a 4th on BOTT MW. I am out of practice and I think the wind has been taken out of my sails a bit. It turned out I broke my little toe in the crash last September, and I have a permanent welt across the middle of my back where the subframe wacked me. This racing stuff is harder than it looks.
